Preparing for our move to HCMC

Around October 2022, we started preparing to move to Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon. Although it has taken us longer than expected, we will land in Viet Nam in April 2023. It took a while for me to obtain my work visa. There are many requirements, and the documents need to be notarized. I took a while to collect everything.

Since I will be working in Viet Nam, I first obtained the Multiple Entry Business Visa (MEBV). This visa allows you to travel in and out of the country and limited types of work for your company. Then, the immigration company applied for my work permit. The work permit took about a month.

We have all our documents and will be flying to Viet Nam soon. We have been packing and re-packing for the last month or so. We are excited about this new chapter but will miss home, especially our family and friends.
